Ayla is an artist and full-time PhD Researcher
in Environmental Science at the University of Reading . Her research focuses on
the provenance of UK honey, through stable isotope analysis, melissopalynology
(identification of pollen in honey) and DNA analysis. In her spare time she
creates her art, which is mainly black pen drawings and lino printing. Her work
is inspired by our (natural) world and its beauty. With a background in Graphic
Design she also enjoys creating digital art and design projects. Her work is
