As a youngster I was always drawing, mainly horses and this lead to my taking A level art. Time passed and now I am lucky enough to have a studio at home (less mess in the house!) and this has enabled me to rekindle my interest in art again and develop and refine my techniques with acrylic, oil and watercolour paints; also I particularly love the effect of soft pastels when creating images of animals – which are still my key subject. I have gained a great deal of experience working and exhibiting with The Red Kites, Henley Arts Trail, Cookham & Maidenhead Arts Trail and Cookham Art Club. I occasionally undertake commissions of horses or pets and am getting more interested in portraits. The future is exciting.
