Artist: Genine Rainsborough
Born Too Paint.
I am passionate about painting and have been creative all of my life from designing my own clothes and knitwear to interior design. I am inspired by style, colour and form particularly light and shade. The ever changing sky has a particular interest for me; my seascapes are many layers of transparent colours each one creating new shades.
My other great love is animals especially the majestic Elephant. My artwork has an unusual twist either with colour or quirky humour.
I can design on a grand scale and have designed and painted sets for a local Am-Dram company one of which was put forward for an award.
I have had several commissions for artwork which is specifically designed to be an integral part of the decor. Many of my artworks have travelled to new homes overseas.
Always looking for inspiration and then there’s no stopping me getting the paint on canvas.
